Om is a beautiful restaurant with a great location in Harvard Square. The Asian inspired décor and natural materials (dark wood and slate) give the feeling that you’re eating in temple. The outdoor seating area is especially attractive. It’s enclosed by a tall wood fence and filled with plans and luxurious seating; it actually has a magical feel to it. The cocktails are expensive, but definitely worth the price. Fresh herbs and fruits are muddled into the concoctions. I ordered a couple of appetizers with friends, but no entrees. The apps were good, but not exceptional. Honestly, the dumplings I got reminded me of the potstickers they sell at Whole Foods but they were twice as expensive. I definitely recommend Om for cocktails after work or before going out, but I can’t say I’d go there for dinner anytime soon.
